With voter suppression efforts underfoot, this new Obama ad hits home, showing the American voter just how much their vote counts.  During the 2000 election, it came down to a difference of 537 votes, which given our history since then, we would likely have been far better off.

The narrator begins, ”Five hundred and thirty seven. The number of votes that changed the course of American history.”

Newscast clip:

“Florida is too close to call”

The narrator continues, ”The difference between what was…And what could have been…So this year, if you're thinking that your vote doesn't count, that it won't matter. Well, back then, there were probably at least 537 people, who felt the same way. Make your voice heard. Vote.”

Vote wisely.
