Voter turnout was high, which showed favor to Warren, and paid off in the end, with Warren as the winner. CNN officially called the extremely close Senate race in Massachusetts Tuesday night. The two candidates waged a brutal and expensive campaigns, totaling $70 million spent between both candidates.
