Firstly, we should congratulate Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney on his distraction efforts as of late – but let’s get back to business. One issue which is clear: Mitt Romney failed in leadership today over the appalling murders in Libya. So, since Mitt’s political demise becomes seemingly more inevitable, we’ll get back to the basics of his other failures, one being transparency. In a new hard hitting Obama campaign ad, the narrator states, ”Mitt Romney, he won’t reveal what’s in his taxes and he won’t tell you what he’d do to yours. To pay for huge, new tax breaks for millionaires like him, Romney would have to raise taxes on the middle class. Two thousand dollars for a family with children says a non-partisan report. You could lose the deduction for your home mortgage, college tuition, health care. How much would you pay? Romney just won’t say.”
Romney nor Ryan will detail their policies, which loopholes they will close or even which class status it affects — although recently Mitt Romney assured America that it won’t affect the middle class — even though every indicator proves that his tax plan will.
Conservatives are calling out Mitt over his secrecy. This won’t be a forgotten issue, no matter how quickly his spin doctors work.
Lest we forget: Romney campaign’s recent party on a yacht , with guests and family members clinking champagne glasses, while flying a Cayman Islands flag was the epitome of laughing in our faces. Can you say, arrogance?
