Busted: She’s not a frustrated Obama supporter, she just plays one on TV

This isn’t the first time Republicans released an ad falsely portraying a frustrated former Obama supporter expressing disappointment over Obama’s Presidency. In this instance, the woman in the video is actually an RNC staffer who has worked in Republican politics since well before Obama’s election in 2008.

The other video in question — and mind you this isn’t confirmed — appears suspiciously rigged.

Video one asks people to share why they’re “breaking up” with Obama. It could be that Obama and the lady in question were never dating, so to speak. So, the GOP is busted with another false claim airing on television. Republicans claim it’s not a lie. She’s not a frustrated Obama supporter, she just plays one on TV.
“It’s a lighthearted ad to show how millions of Americans feel about President Obama — he’s not the person we thought he was and it’s time to break up with him,” an RNC official told TPM. “But let’s be clear, it is an ad.”
Yes it’s an ad. A very deceptive, albeit transparent ad.

As reported here, another (strange) ad was released in Charlotte which shows another frustrated Obama ‘supporter’ and the supposed frustration stems from Obama ‘shoving gay marriage on America.’ Except, equality is the change we voted for. Hello? Religiosity never played into the reasoning behind supporting Obama.

The GOP are having great difficulty dredging up frustrated Obama supporters. Most of us are frustrated, but that’s due to Obama not standing up to the Tea Party-hostage takers enough — not because we want more religious zealots in office.

The majority of Americans support equality, not oppose it – unless you’re a Republican.

Democrats and Independents take no issue with same sex marriage except in full support of equality. In short, the second video linked is also pure unadulterated bullshit.
