The Allwetter Zoo in Münster, Germany announced Friday that they have produced two endangered Asiatic golden kittens through artificial insemination. Scientific American explains that the procedure was used in an effort to ensure the future of this rare and beautiful species, which could be hope for a species that has gone virtually extinct in the wild with only 51 animals remaining in captivity.
