Husband pleads for leniency for 'Godly' and 'Wonderful' wife who tried to hire a hitman to murder him

The husband of a Michigan mother of two who was videotaped trying to hire a hit man to kill him, and suggested breaking his neck, defended his wife at her sentencing, begging the judge for a lighter penalty because "she is a godly woman."

Because don't all 'Godly' women have their husband's neck snapped? In the undercover video she said that killing him at home would be too 'messy.'

Jury reaches a verdict of Not Guilty for George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin

At about 9:45 a verdict was reached.In the George Zimmerman trial and at 9:57 the judge explained the rules, requesting no outbursts as the verdict is read. 

The jury had a question for Judge Debra Nelson which came about nine hours into the first full day of deliberations in the case. The jury of six women weighed evidence in the Seminole County, Florida courthouse for more than three hours on Friday.

The jury on Saturday afternoon wanted clarification on manslaughter.

The jury had to reach a unanimous verdict of second-degree murder, manslaughter or acquittal for Zimmerman, who alleges he shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in self-defense.

The question over Zimmerman’s self defense claim and  if he felt death was imminent has been scrutinized by the six jurors.

The law if a manslaughter verdict had been reached:

According to Florida law, it states in part,”The killing of a human being by the act, procurement, or culpable negligence of another, without lawful justification…, is manslaughter, a felony of the second degree.” That is the definition currently used in Florida based on a decision of the Florida Supreme Court.

To be convicted of the act of manslaughter, intent to kill is not required but a determination of an intentional act that causes the death of the victim is necessary according the state’s laws/definition.

Find Law  states in part:'

"Voluntary manslaughter describes a homicide intentionally committed while in the midst of a provocation. The prosecutor must show a sudden, unexpected event or circumstance serving as a provocation. As a result of the provocation, the defendant must have felt a temporary anger, heat of passion, or emotion that immediately resulted in an intent to kill or an intent to commit the act that resulted in the victim’s death"

A description of manslaughter as per the source provided by our admin:

“Florida state laws establish the criminal offense of manslaughter when a homicide, the killing of a human being, does not meet the legal definition of murder. Manslaughter, unlike murder, does not require evidence of the defendant’s premeditation or “depraved mind” with disregard for human life; instead, the state requires proof of either voluntary manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter.”

Manslaughter via Richard E. Hornsby, PA:

1. Manslaughter by Act (Voluntary Manslaughter): Committing an intentional act that was neither excusable, nor justified that resulted in the death of another person.
   
2. Manslaughter by Procurement (Voluntary Manslaughter):Persuading, inducing, or encouraging another person to commit an act that resulted in the death of another person.
   
3. Manslaughter by Culpable Negligence (Involuntary Manslaughter): Engaging in “Culpably Negligent” conduct that resulted in the death of another person.

Manslaughter with a Weapon or Firearm

While not a specific element of Manslaughter, if the jury determines a weapon or firearm was used in the commission of the Manslaughter, the crime will be reclassified from a felony of the second degree to a felony of the first degree.

I’m keeping my personal opinion out of this post. 

California man arrested for kidnapping, having sexy-time with horses

56 year-old Bryon Baker from California was jailed Wednesday after he allegedly kidnapped one horse and sexually assaulted another.

An investigation was launched last January after a horse turned up missing from a Northern California ranch, which led investigators to believe the horse was stolen.

The Weekly Vice reports:

 In May of this year, the theft of the horse was linked to Baker when it was found that the horse had died while in his care.

During the same investigation it was also discovered that Baker sexually assaulted another horse. Baker was taken into custody after a raid on his motor home. He was booked into jail and charged with suspicion of grand theft of a horse, animal cruelty, attempted grand theft of a horse and sexual assault on an animal.

Meanwhile an Ohio man was jailed after being caught by a child having sex with a rubber pool raft in front of several children. It's not his first offense having sexy-time with a raft.

Couple leaves baby in hot car to shop for sex toys because "No one under the age of 18 was allowed in the store"

Parents of a 9-month-old baby in Wisconsin are charged with child endangerment after leaving the infant in a hot car for 20 minutes while they shopped for sex toys. According to police, the baby was crying and sweating profusely.

The couple told officers they left the baby in the car because no one under the age of 18 was allowed inside the store, WGN-TV reports. 

Michael Cegers, the father, is 18 years-old. The mother is identified as 20-year-old Jessica Hurley-Smith.

"They were taking their time in here," a Lover's Lane employee told TMJ4. "They were just kind of walking around, looking at everything. What's also alarming about that is they weren't in any hurry to go back out to their car."

Texas man gets arrested again for having sexy-time with someone's horse repeatedly

Hidalgo County, Texas sheriff’s deputies have again arrested a 42 year-old man for having sex with Nadia the horse.

Sheriff Lupe Trevino said that  has repeatedly gone after the same mare which prompted the horse's owner to set up a security camera in the corral where she is kept. Just three months after being arrested for having sexy-time with Nadia the horse, he returned for more.

 Castillo was scheduled to appear before a magistrate Wednesday to face charges of trespassing and cruelty to animals. Trvino said, “We have a hell of a surveillance tape. It is not going to go to, ‘America’s Funniest Videos,’ that is for sure.”

 Apparently the surveillance video captured is explicit.

Trevino described Castillo as a laborer and said he has prior arrests for theft, marijuana possession, and most recently, cruelty to the horse, for which he was released from jail in April. “The guy is practically harmless, except for the horse,” Trevino said. “I can’t just ignore this and allow it to keep happening.

The sheriff said that this time he’s hoping to actually help Castillo by seeing if a judge can order him to undergo some kind of treatment to sort out his issues. “Maybe we can get him some help, whatever we can do, we are going to try and do,” the sheriff said. Trevino said that as the state has no law against bestiality, Castillo can only be charged with trespassing, and perhaps cruelty, if there is evidence the animal was hurt. He said Nadia’s owner first realized Castillo was back prowling in the night after she found a mysterious bucket in Nadia’s corral on a recent morning.

Wait, what? “The guy is practically harmless, except for the horse." ??? Castillo's rape of a horse is hardly harmless and it's certainly an indicator of a very sick mind. Again, he had sex with a horse.

Man breaks into a house, homeowner hog ties him, leaves him on the lawn for police

A man who broke into a home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, ended up being 'bum rushed' then hog tied and left in the yard for the police to pick up by the homeowner.

One of the homeowners who is 9 months pregnant said both she and her husband heard the sound of glass breaking, then noticed a folding chair inside of their daughter's bedroom at about 6:00 a.m., so her husband went to the front of the house to wait for the man, then after what she calls 'bum-rushing' him, the man was then hog tied and left on the lawn.

An unmanned Russian rocket crashed Tuesday just after takeoff in Kazakhstan, but there were no immediate reports of injuries. The rocket was carrying three satellites for a navigation system that Russia has been trying to build, The New York Times reports. Instead of a journey into space, the crash is one of the most dramatic rocket disasters in Russia’s space program in recent years.
